Today the shade will be cleaned up for controlling and soldering.

The surface is still very "waxy", but  TURPENTINE and a brush do that job fast and easy.

Turpentine dissolves the GSE BEESWAX completely.

When finished,

 the shade gets a hot shower and is ready for examination

and final soldering.
