2. DAY

This is how Gudrun cuts the 4 parts of a leaf.
 
 

Sometimes the glass is black on the surface, so we have to

draw AND to cut using transmitted light .

Here is the same piece of glass seen in reflected light and how  it

looks in transmitted light. What a difference!

(hardly to be seen: the "white shadow" of the small light table under the glass)

Gudrun at work, two fingers of her left hand are protected with sticking plaster.

(It keeps her fingers from getting cut with the glass)
