4. DAY

In the afternoon Gudrun finished cutting the background glass  for the upper portion of the lampshade.

Here is a snapshot of background glass that Gudrun cut, ready to be put on the light table.

When I finished cutting the middle border,   I began drawing the flowers.

Again I use clear film with windows cut out.

I  put the glass on the lighttable and started drawing , this is what my lighttable looks like

when I finished and put the different glasses on the table.    (Lights on)

Here, in reflected light, is how my working area looked.

I used seven different colors and types of glass:  five Linn´s, one Uroboros and one Kokomo.

Here's what left when I finished separating all the flower glass pieces.

Here are six flower cutting jobs for tomorrow. There are 18 flowers in  every repeat of the  22" Tulip,

witch do have  more  than one glass piece.I have numbered them arbitrary in the pattern

(every flower got it's own number, not every piece). So I got this six jobs with 3 x 3 flowers to cut each :

Job 1: flowers #1, #2,  and #3.   Job 2: flowers #4, #5, and #6, and so on.
